About Naturopthic Dr. Dennis Black

Dr. Dennis Black of Dallas, Texas is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and has a passion for teaching people how to naturally regain and maintain optimal health for themselves and their pets. His life has been one filled with color and adventure leading him to a lifelong commitment to God, Country, family, and the community he serves.

Dr. Black was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1972. He served with A Company, 75th Infantry as an Airborne Ranger, after which he served with the 20th Special Forces Group (Green Beret). Upon graduation from Office Candidate School, he went to U.S. Army Flight School where as “Honor Graduate” he served as a OH-58 Scout military helicopter pilot for the Florida and Texas Army National Guard. His commitment to excellence was recognized many times while in the Army, including an award of the State of Florida Distinguished Service Medal.

While serving in Korea, he was the Captain of the U.S. Army Martial Arts Team and upon returning to the states, he continued teaching martial arts. A 7th Degree champion black belt, with innumerable awards, Dr. Black has been responsible for guiding hundreds of students to the rank of “Black Belt”.

In 1983, while attending Law School, Dr. Black was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Cancer. His doctors informed him there was “No Cure” and that he could anticipate living no more than 3 to 6 months. After being released from the hospital with a certain death sentence, Dr. Black looked to God for guidance and was ultimately provided with the divine inspiration to create a natural formula for healing known as “The 3 P’s”.

The 3 P’s are: Prayer, Positive Attitude and Powerful Nutrition. Through God’s Grace and his common sense approach to health that includes a diet of natural, whole, vine-ripened fruits and vegetables.

After successfully beating Cancer, Dr. Black’s passion for helping others inspired him to go back to school where he received a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD). Dr. Black formulated a product that today, thousands of Americans now rely on for their health benefits. Dr. Black’s whole food nutrition product is known as “Texas SuperFood®”.

The success of Texas SuperFood, lead Dr. Black to look at the Pet Food Industry and figure out why so many pets were getting sick and not living out their full potential.
